  • 450g chicken breast, or shrimp, tofu, 1 can (400g) chickpeas (1 lb)

Sauce Options:

Basic:

  • 60ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 120ml (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast (for vegan)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 60ml (1/4 cup) heavy cream

Creative:

  • 60g (1/4 cup) butter
  • 240ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 120ml (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Herb Options:

  • Fresh basil, parsley, or oregano

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Protein:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook your chosen protein until fully done. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Combine:
