A New Chapter: Diagnosis, Voice Training, and Small Wins

It’s been a little while since my last update, and wow, a lot has changed—most of it for the better! I’ve officially received my diagnosis for being trans, which means I can finally start taking some real steps forward. If all goes well, I’ll be starting voice training in just a few weeks, and I’m hoping to get an appointment for hormone therapy (HRT) soon, too. Of course, the timing for HRT depends on when I can actually get that appointment, but fingers crossed!

I’m honestly so thrilled about starting voice training. It feels like a huge step toward feeling more like the real me. Having a voice that sounds like me would mean the world, and once I start getting the hang of it, I’m planning to begin socially transitioning. That could even be just a few weeks away, which makes everything feel that much more real and exciting.

Another big change I’ve noticed is how much more I’ve started to care for myself now compared to when I identified as male. It’s like I’m finally paying attention to myself in a way I didn’t before, and it feels really good. On top of that, I’ve ordered my first piece of female clothing! It’s just a pair of jeans—something subtle for now—but I’m really excited to try them on once they arrive.

So, lots of big and small victories lately, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Things are finally starting to fall into place, and it feels incredible.
